The 3 steps I took to finally rid myself of anxiety

If there has ever been a moment in time when anxiety is prevalent and maybe even justified, it is right now. There are stressful moments all around us springing up almost hourly it seems, and it is taking a toll on our health and our collective psyche.

Anxiety has been something that I’ve dealt with personally since I was a small child growing up to a poor family in the middle of Los Angeles during one of the most violent decades in the cities history. There was crime, drugs, high speed chases and plenty more to fill the night time news. That will tend to leave some anxious emotional scars behind. This article won’t be about my traumatic childhood experiences or growing up in a dangerous environment however, though it is fascinating.

I want to focus more on the solution and not the problem. This article is about the 3 steps that I took when I realized I was an anxious mess in my mid-30’s to finally rid myself of these over anxious tendencies and finally learn to just relax. So if you are a person that’s prone to anxiety, then I challenge you to take these on yourself.
